Breathe consciously

No matter if you are a person full of energy in the morning or not, take a few minutes to get up to do a few breaths, while it focuses attention on the inlet and outlet of the air. Contrary to what you may think, it won’t take long time and helps clear the mind to face the rest of the day.

Breathing accompanies you at all times during your life and yet most of the time we are not aware of it.

Sometimes you're doing one thing but you are not paying attention, your body is doing some task automatically, but your mind is distracted with a thought, a concern. Your mind and body are in harmony.

Conscious breathing connects your body and your mind. Respiration takes place here and now, at the present time, when paying attention to your breathing. It takes away your mind of any thoughts, past or future time you’ve escaped to and brings you to this moment, to breathe consciously is to connect you with life taking place in the present moment.
